Review: 3 Concept Eyes Lip Paints in Shade 7 & 8

Today on my blog I would love to share with you two lip paints by 3 Concept Eyes, that I received from BornPrettyStore for review purposes.  These lip paints are the latest edition to the lippie line that BornPrettyStore carries.  I was excited to review these because when I first saw them they reminded me of OCC Lip Tars and Sleek Makeup Pout Paints.  Well in that concept at the least.

Out of the eight shades, I decided to pick #7 and #8 since I wanted something that I would be able to wear both of them at separate times.

Each lip paint tube comes within a box and has a small lip brush with it.

The brush comes with two pieces.  You could take the cap off and put it on the top of the brush so you have a longer brush handle.  The bristles were not stiff at all, and the product was easy to clean off the bristles.

Shade 07 is a muted lilac shade.  This was very creamy.

Shade 08 is a soft Primrose pink.  It was on the sheer side but it makes for a wonderful lip gloss like.

With the mixing part, it does work.  You basically work with how much color you would want.  Think of it as a paint pallet.  Too much white into a black paint causes it to go a light gray.  So these are very versatile in how many different kinds of shades you could make.

So here is an example of a shade I ended up doing with it.  I added a bit more of the 08 with just a little bit of the 07 shade.

These lip paints are very moisturizing and the lasting power would only depend on what you are doing.  If you are eating and drinking, these will not last against it since to me they lean more towards lip gloss than a lipstick.  Either way I thought it was fun to mix the two shades together to get the shade you would like.  So with two tubes you could get say 4 more other shades with just those two tubes.  Mix and play I say!

BornPrettyStore carries six other shades, which includes a white as well.  Each 3 Concept Eyes Lip Paints are $4.43, but if you buy more than 3 it drops to $4.14 a piece.  You could use my code LARJ61 to get a 10% off your purchase.

So while grabbing your nail art decos, why not try out some of their other products as well?

Have you tried these lippies out yet?

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
