Today I get to show you this wonderful spring collection from Duri Cosmetics that features six nail polish shades: Satin Treat, Afterhours, Call Me Maybe, Dream Catcher, Showstopper, and One Night Only. As shown about from left to right. How pretty do those shades look?
Duri Cosmetics is known as a professional line that aims towards high performance for consumers at salons and specialty stores nationwide. Their nail polish is meant to be long-lasting and chip-resistant with a smooth finish. Their nail products are 3-Free: DBP, Toluene, and Formaldehyde. Each bottle holds 0.5 fl. oz./15ml.
Satin Treat is described as "a powdery, sophisticated nude with a copper tone sheen and a smooth satin finish." Odly the picture that is given on their site, doesn't look like what we have here, but trust me it is Satin Treat. This polish is sheer and to get an opaque look you'll need 3 to 4 coats for it.
Afterhours is described as "an essence of muted lavender with an intense silver base." The above look is three coats, and I actually really like this polish! There are actually teeny bits of a copper sort particles in it. Not sure if you could tell but if you look at the word "Duri" on the bottle some of the pieces show. It reminds me of a pair of silky capris I use to have. It was the same shade and this seems more of a dusty grayish lavender to me.
Call Me Maybe is described as "an icy shade of coral with semi-florescent finish." This polish was uber tricky to capture. It is a bright colored pastel sort of coral. Almost like a pink peach combo. This is a color I could see me using a load of times. The above picture was with only two coats. It is very opaque!
Dream Catcher is described as "a mid-tone pastel in a pinkish lilac hue." I did two coats of Dream Catcher its such a gorgeous hue if you love pastels. Totally perfect for spring!
Showstopper is described as "a show-stopping poppy peony pink." This polish is super gorgeous and glided on smoothly with just two coats. If you look closely you could see the small coarse gold glitter in the polish.
One Night Only is described as "a strong, bright deep crimson red (a real American beauty)." I am loving this crimson red polish! The above picture was with two swatches only, and this did not stain my nail.
Each nail polish bottle cost only $6 and could be found on the Duri Cosmetics website, as well as some salons and specialty stores nationwide.
I wanted to share some examples of nail art looks you could do with these polishes. First up is a gradient sugar spun look, which I decided to do for my Seven Deadly Sins challenge for this week. More information on that in a later post.

I have been using Duri Cosmetics' Rejuvacote ever since last year and let me tell you this product is superrrr helpful! If your nails are feeling brittle and dry or starting to peel, you need to check this product out. It helps restore and revive your nails. To make it stronger and much more healthier.
